The Membership of the CCG meets as a Members’ Forum, at which GP and member practices hold the Board of the CCG to account.
The Members’ Forum consists of 25 members with representatives from each of the four Localities – East, West, South and South West.
The Members’ Forum meets at least four times a year.
Further details on the membership are set out in the CCG Constitution.
Board (Governing Body) and Committees
The CCG Board (referred to constitutionally as the Governing Body) is responsible for ensuring the CCG has appropriate arrangements in place to exercise its functions effectively, efficiently and economically and in accordance with the CCG’s principles of good governance.
The CCG Governing Body consists of the Chair and Chief Executive (known constitutionally as the Accountable Officer), Director of Finance, Director of Nursing, Secondary Care Doctor, 7 Non-Executive Directors (known constitutionally as Lay Members), four Locality Clinical Leads and two Primary Care Leads.
Representatives from Healthwatch, Public Health and other CCG senior staff members are invited to attend the meetings on a regular basis.
The statutory Board of the CCG usually holds meetings on a monthly basis, with a minimum of eight meetings held per year (as per the CCG Constitution). Meetings will be held in public but they are not public meetings in the normal sense; the main difference is that the public are entitled to come along and listen to the discussion, but they are not able to take part or ask questions during the formal meeting.
However, the decisions of the Board affect many people in Lincolnshire and the Board would like the public to be more aware of the decisions taken, so preceding the meeting will be an informal opportunity for members of the public to meet the Board members.
Details, including the time, location, agenda and papers are published on the website prior to the meeting. Available papers can be viewed and downloaded on our documents page.
Dates of the Board meetings are listed on our events page.
