Improving Lincolnshire’s health and wellbeing

NHS Lincolnshire CCG has transferred to the new NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). Please now visit www.lincolnshire.icb.nhs.uk

GP services

General practitioners (GPs) treat all common medical conditions and refer patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment.

They focus on the health of the whole person combining physical, psychological and social aspects of care.

Find your local GP Surgery

The NHS website has information on GP appointments and how to register with a GP.

Online services

The majority of practices also offer online services 24-7. To book appointments, request sick notes and order repeat prescriptions, download the NHS App on your smartphone.

You can also save time and consult with your GP practice online. Contact your practice for more information. 💻 GP Online Services

Evening and weekend appointments

Patients across Lincolnshire can access appointments with a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional in the evenings and weekends either through a local GP access ‘hub’, their own practice or a practice nearby. To find out more please contact a member of your GP practice team.

GP services are available 24 hours a day. Outside normal surgery hours, you can still phone the GP surgery, but you’ll usually be directed to the out-of-hours service.

Alternatively, go online via NHS 111 (24 hours a day, seven days a week) for medical advice and treatment.
