Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and in keeping with its recent Board meetings, NHS Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will hold its Annual Public Meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams, on Thursday 24 September at 4pm.
Although members of the public won’t be able to attend the CCG’s Annual Public Meeting in person, they will still be able to view the meeting remotely, and watch the CCG formally present the four predecessor Lincolnshire CCGs’ 2019/20 Annual Reports and Accounts (East, South, South West and West), as well as find out more about the work undertaken by the Lincolnshire CCG over the previous year.
“In an ideal world we would be running a meeting that would allow all of us to attend in person, but we have to be responsible and follow the government’s guidance around coronavirus, especially where social distancing is concerned,” explains Sean Lyons, Chair, Lincolnshire CCG.
“However, we are confident we will still be able to do everything we would usually do at our Annual Public Meeting, albeit via Microsoft Teams, and, of course, whilst we are now one CCG, this year’s meeting will look back at the work of the previous four CCGs that operated across the county until the end of March this year.”
As always, the Annual Public Meeting will also provide the public with the chance to find out more about what the CCG is focusing on over the next year, and members of the public can either submit questions in advance of the meeting by emailing email@example.com by 5pm on Wednesday 23 September, or through the Question and Answer facility available as part of the meeting.
Watch the CCG’s Annual Public Meeting LIVE – please note this link will only become live at 4pm on Thursday 24 September.
Led by local GPs and other health professionals, NHS Lincolnshire CCG is responsible for the planning and purchasing of health services across the county, including planned and emergency hospital care, rehabilitation, most community services, and mental health and learning disability services.
