Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and in keeping with its recent Board meetings, NHS Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will hold its Annual Public Meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams, on Wednesday, 22nd September at 5pm.
Although members of the public won’t be able to attend the CCG’s Annual Public Meeting in person, they will still be able to view the meeting remotely, and watch the CCG formally present its 2020/21 Annual Report and Accounts, as well as find out more about the work it has undertaken during the previous financial year.
“It is unfortunate that we are not able to meet in person yet, but we continue to be responsible and take a sensible and proportionate stance where coronavirus is concerned, which is why, for the second year running, this year’s Annual Public Meeting will be held virtually,” explains Sean Lyons, Chair, Lincolnshire CCG.
“However, based on our experience of running last year’s meeting in exactly the same way, we are confident we will still be able to do everything we would usually do at our Annual Public Meeting, albeit via Microsoft Teams, and, we look forward to sharing with people some of the work we have undertaken over the last year.”
As always, the Annual Public Meeting will also provide the public with the chance to find out more about what the CCG is focusing on over the next year, and members of the public can either submit questions in advance of the meeting by emailing email@example.com by 5pm on Tuesday 21st September, or using the proforma available or through the Question and Answer facility available as part of the meeting.
Join in and watch the CCG’s Annual Public Meeting– please note this link will only become live at 5pm on Wednesday 22nd September.
Led by local GPs and other health professionals, NHS Lincolnshire CCG is responsible for the planning and purchasing of health services across the county, including planned and emergency hospital care, rehabilitation, most community services, and mental health and learning disability services.
