Virtual Primary Care Commissioning Committee meeting: 10 February 2021
Patients and the public are invited to the next meeting of NHS Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group’s Primary Care Commissioning Committee.
The Primary Care Commissioning Committee (PCCC) enables the members to make collective decisions on the review, planning, and procurement of primary care services under delegated authority from NHS England.
Its principal function is to ensure that the local arrangements for the commissioning of primary care services are undertaken with the utmost regard to the effective management of any actual or potential conflicts of interest.
It also provides assurance to the Board as to the development of the primary care strategy with specific focus upon Primary Care Networks.
Usually we welcome patients and the public to these meetings to offer local people a first-hand opportunity to see how we are working to improve health services in Lincolnshire.
These are not public meetings in the normal sense but they are meetings held in public. The main difference is that the public are entitled to come along and listen to the discussion, but they are not able to take part or ask questions during the formal meeting.
However, during the coronavirus pandemic we are unable to hold our Primary Care Commissioning Committee meetings physically at this time, but members of the public who wish to join the meeting from their homes can now do so by clicking on this link and joining via Microsoft Teams:
