From Monday 13 December, you should work from home, if you can

Dear Colleagues

Following the announcement from the Prime Minister that office workers who can work from home should do so.  From Monday 13 December we will be implementing this.  This will also mean that the intended phased return to work will be on hold and all non-essential face to face meetings or gatherings will need to be stood down until these working from home restrictions have been ceased, which the Prime Minister hoped would be sometime in the new year.

We will continue to keep you informed of any developments and would like to thank all staff for their continued support during this time. If you do need to go into work you should get prior approval from your line manager and follow the guidance re-lateral flow tests to manage your own risk and the risk to others.

For the teams who need to attend the office they should undertake a lateral flow test on at least two occasions during the week we recommend Sunday and Wednesday. For staff attending the office once a week (or on an ad hoc basis) these arrangements should be reviewed with your line manager as where possible we should avoid coming into the office not less it is deemed essential by the executive lead for your work programme.

You should wear a face mask whilst working unless you have an agreed exemption not to do so. Facemasks will be required to be worn in communal areas and when moving around the office including corridors, in line with system working arrangements.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation which is intended to keep you, your colleagues, and our visitors safe at this time. If you have any questions please speak to your line manager.
