The NHS Big Conversation for Improvement is a co-designed two day event for everyone. It is a space for people to talk through the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, explore continuous improvement opportunities and share fresh insights and ideas on how to promote the improvement of health and care for the benefit of patients and those who care for them. It’s free and virtual so you’re able to dip in and out as you please throughout the two days.
We will celebrate the successes achieved and how we can apply and build on the tenacity and innovation shown in everyday working to reflect and apply to our future challenges including restoring services.
We will be focusing specifically on improvements which include:
- Improving through co-production
- Improving health equity
- Service-led innovation
- Digitally enabled transformation
- Collaborating for Improvement
- Spreading change and improvement across systems
Day 1 will be a virtual conference where there will be a series of workshops on practical improvement topics across one national stage. The day will end with the inaugural National Improvement Awards which will celebrate great work.
Day 2 will be an “open conversation” day where the sessions will be led by the audience and will consist of group discussions, problem solving, teaching others an improvement skill and showcasing best practice improvement.
