WANTED – Stewards and volunteers for COVID-19 mobile vaccination/drop-in clinics

Over the next couple of weeks, we have a number of COVID-19 mobile vaccination/drop-in clinics, as well as engagement events taking place at venues in Lincoln, Boston and Spalding.

The mobile vaccination service/walk-ins have proved extremely popular with our patients.

As part of this, as well as sourcing stewards and volunteers, we are writing to ask if there are any staff who would be available and might like to help provide additional staffing to our team please.  The details, including a brief description of the roles, are enclosed below:-

Mobile/drop-in vaccination clinic role: Assist the team, speak to patients, patient queries, manage queue control, filter those patients not relevant in receiving their vaccination, administration to speed up the vaccination process, help patients to receive a positive experience receiving their vaccination.

Engagement event role: Speak to patients, direct them to the drop-in vaccination clinic at the Co-op Pharmacy, gather patient experience feedback, book patients in for their vaccinations via the national booking system, distribute COVID-19 guidance and leaflets in a range of different languages.

Engagement Event – Boston Saturday, 10 July 2021. 8.30am – 2pm Boston Market Place, Boston, Lincs

Drop-in vaccination clinic – Boston
Saturday, 10 July 2021. 8.30 am – 12.00 noon (vaccinations commence at 9.00 am) Co-op Pharmacy, Parkside, 8 Tawney St, Boston, PE21 6PA

Saturday, 17 July 2021. 12 noon – 3pm Spalding Market Place (outside Savers)

Drop-in vaccination clinic – Boston
