YourVoice@healthwatch discusses Community Wellbeing on Wednesday 03 November 2021 and welcomes questions from the public

Healthwatch Lincolnshire presents its latest YourVoice@healthwatch event on Wednesday 03 November 2021 and in a welcome return this will take place as a face-to-face public event, with all encouraged to attend. The event will take place at Boston United Football Club, Jakemans Community Stadium, Boston between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.

The free event will provide members of the pubic with a chance to see and hear first-hand from an expert Panel and meet other people interested in positive change on wellbeing matters in their community.

A Market Place will also take place, with a number of stands from different organisations who will be on hand to give an insightful chat on their resources and services. Some of those confirmed to attend are: Carers First, Connect to Support, Every-one, KTR Consultancy Services Ltd., LVCS, LinCA, Lincolnshire sensory Services, OneYou Lincolnshire, SHINE, Veterans Support Services and the Well Head Centre.

There will be opportunities to network and meet key service providers in addition to hearing the latest information for the Panel of Experts.

How much do you know about community wellbeing? What would you like to see happening in your area?  Jut some of the questions that will be answered on the day and the public are invited to submit their questions in advance to the Panel through the Healthwatch contacts provided.

Oonagh Quinn, Healthwatch Involvement Officer said, “Every YourVoice@healthwatch event has a different health or care theme and to help guide discussions around this theme, we include a Panel of Experts to provide answers to questions raised by the public.

“We are being joined by Kenneth Hume (Chair of Lincolnshire Dental Committee), Dr Kieran Sharrock (Medical Director of the Lincolnshire Local Medical Committee) and Dr Tracey Latham-Green (Chief Officer, Community Pharmacist) on our Panel and they are looking forward to being able to answer all of the questions we receive. We would like to hear from the public in advance and welcome any wellbeing related questions which we will endeavour to have answered.”
